Farnham’s artist in residence initiative has been funded by Farnham South Street Trust and is part of a five-year commitment to host residencies for makers from other World Craft towns and cities. Farnham was designated as England’s first World Craft Town in 2020.
I was delighted to be selected as the inaugural AiR for this programme. It was a wonderful experience to work with makers and creative intuitions across Farnham. While there I developed my research into intangible craft skills and created a piece which will be part of the FWCT collection. It will exhibited at the Farnham Craft Study Centre this April.
